JOIN THE LEARNING ADVENTURE!
We are a two form entry junior school with a total of 240 children on roll; each year group has two teachers and a dedicated teaching assistant. The vast majority of our pupils enter from the adjoining infant school, with which we work very closely.
In March 2007 we had an Ofsted Inspection, in which all aspects of our school were judged to be “good”. We have consistently maintained good academic standards in the SATs tests in English and Maths.
In June 2008 we had an Ofsted "Aspect" Inspection focused on staff professional development and training. We were again judged as "good" but were also judged to have made "outstanding" progress in this key area of school development.
Last year we became the first school to achieve the OPAL [Outdoor Play and Learning] Gold Award and have been commended by Play England on our good practice.
